DAE completes landmark transactions in 2025

Dubai -- Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE), the global aviation services company, has reported its business transactions update for the full year 2025.
During the year, DAE Capital signed and closed the US$2.0 billion acquisition of Nordic Aviation Capital, significantly expanding its platform.
The company acquired a total of 280 aircraft, comprising 261 owned and 19 managed assets, while disposing of 112 aircraft, including 95 owned and 17 managed. DAE Capital also demonstrated strong leasing activity, signing 273 lease agreements, extensions and amendments across its portfolio, with 227 relating to owned aircraft and 46 to managed aircraft.
In addition, the company signed and completed a long-term sale-and-leaseback transaction with United Airlines covering ten Boeing 737-9 aircraft.
The company placed ten Boeing 737-8 aircraft on long-term lease with AJet and successfully priced a US$610 million two-tranche aircraft asset-backed securities transaction for a DAE-managed asset client.
Commenting on the results, Firoz Tarapore, Chief Executive Officer said: “2025 was another defining year for DAE in which we further enhanced our global franchise and strengthened our position as a leading aviation services corporation.
DAE Capital ended the year with 35% fleet growth and now ranks within the top five global lessors by fleet count. DAE Engineering continues to be the leading independent airframe MRO in the region.”
