France Reaffirms Support for Diplomatic Efforts Toward a Comprehensive Political Solution in Yemen

Paris – The French Foreign Ministry on Tuesday reiterated its full support for diplomatic efforts aimed at ending the crisis in Yemen through a comprehensive and just political solution that safeguards the country’s unity, sovereignty, and meets the aspirations of the Yemeni people for security and stability.
In its statement, the ministry emphasized the importance of intensifying international and regional efforts to support de‑escalation, create favorable conditions for resuming the political process, and ensure that negotiations are conducted under UN auspices.
France also renewed its commitment to working with international and regional partners to strengthen prospects for peace, stressing that a political solution remains the only path to ending the suffering of Yemenis and addressing the worsening humanitarian crisis.
