Dhale — Four civilians were killed and six others wounded in airstrikes carried out by the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen on Wednesday, medical sources told AFP.
The strikes targeted Dhale province, the stronghold of Aidarous al-Zubaidi, head of the separatist Southern Transitional Council.
Doctors at Al-Nasr and Al-Tadhamon hospitals in Dhale confirmed to AFP that the casualties included four civilian deaths and six injuries in what they described as an “initial toll” from the bombardment.
The coalition has not immediately commented on the incident. Dhale, located in southern Yemen, has long been a flashpoint in the country’s complex conflict, where regional and local forces vie for control amid the ongoing war between the internationally recognized government and Houthi rebels.
