Netanyahu Orders Arrest of 70 Settlers Accused of Violence Against Palestinians

Jerusalem — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered the arrest of 70 settlers accused of committing violent acts against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.

Officials said the arrests target individuals involved in assaults and property damage. 

Netanyahu stressed that such actions are illegal and will be met with firm measures.

The decision comes amid growing concern over rising settler violence, which has drawn criticism from human rights groups and international observers.
