A French writer accuses Qatar of financing and sponsoring the Muslim Brotherhood and accusations to Doha loyalists are behind the false and misleading news campaign against the UAE!

The French writer Mohamed Sifaoui accused the State of Qatar of sponsoring and financing the Muslim Brotherhood movement and dealing with terrorist groups linked to the Brotherhood, pointing out that Doha is misleading the West by showcasing the recovery of hostages and trying to divert attention from its role as a sponsor of the political Islam group in the Middle East and the world.

There were also accusations against Qatari loyalists belong to the Muslim Brotherhood of being behind the cyber fallacy attacks against the Emirates, as they recently published false and misleading news on social media sites, targeting the reputation of the Emirates and its institutions, and aiming to inflame tension between the two countries.

In this regard, political and human rights sources in Paris, Brussels and Geneva indicated to AIJES International that a number of media figures and activists loyal to Doha and affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood in the Middle East and Europe are waging an organized campaign of fallacies through news websites and various accounts on social media with the aim of distorting the reputation of the United Arab Emirates. 

These attacks included publishing news, old videos, and fabricated pictures, such as publishing a video by France 24 indicating the participation of Emirati planes in the Israeli bombing of Gaza, while the video clip dates back to about 6 years ago, specifically on March 27, 2017, when the French channel broadcast The French newspaper reported on what the Israeli newspaper Haaretz presented about the participation of Emirati F-16 warplanes in Israeli Air Force military exercises conducted in Greece as part of the international anti-terrorism campaign led by the United States. 

However, the United Arab Emirates announced in the UN Security Council its rejection of the escalation and aggression against the Gaza Strip, which was expressed by Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, through his demand for an immediate ceasefire, as well as his assertion that the solution to the Palestinian issue lies in establishing a state. Palestinian on the 1967 borders, a position unanimously agreed upon by the Arab countries supporting the Palestinian cause.
