The discussions focused on enhancing bilateral relations, particularly in the economic, trade, and investment sectors, and addressing regional developments, according to a statement from the Egyptian presidency.

Israel and Hamas reached a three-phase ceasefire deal aimed at ending the 15-month-old war in Gaza.
The agreement, brokered by Egypt, Qatar, and the US, is set to take effect on Sunday, following more than a year of intermittent indirect negotiations.
Bin Zayed praised Egypt's relentless efforts over the past year to protect the people of Gaza and facilitate mediation towards the agreement.
The two leaders also stressed the need to fully deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza, aiming to alleviate the humanitarian crisis endured by Palestinians.
They also reaffirmed their commitment to pursuing a two-state solution as the only viable path to sustainable peace and stability in the Middle East, the statement pointed out.
Meanwhile, both sides welcomed President Joseph Aoun's election, which ended a more than two-year-long power vacuum. They expressed hope that it would contribute to restoring Lebanon’s stability.
Furthermore, they emphasized the need to uphold the ceasefire in Lebanon to protect its people and fulfil their aspirations.
A ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hezbollah took effect on 27 November; however, Israel has been violating it since its implementation.
The Egyptian and Emirati sides also discussed the situation in Syria, reaffirming their commitment to Syria's unity, stability, and territorial integrity.
The two leaders stressed the importance of initiating a comprehensive political process that includes all Syrian factions and is led by Syria itself.
The official spokesman noted that the meeting addressed efforts to restore stability in Sudan, Libya, Yemen, and Somalia.
The two leaders underscored the need to safeguard these countries’ security and sovereignty to achieve their people's interests and aspirations for stability and prosperity.
