As usual, the Houthis are indulging in a state of delusional euphoria following the temporary U.S. decision allowing oil imports into areas under their control until April 5, 2025. They cheer and applaud as if they have secured a diplomatic victory, while the reality is entirely different.
This decision was not the result of “political strength” or “negotiation success” as they claim. Rather, it came in response to a UN request aimed at alleviating the humanitarian crisis afflicting the Yemeni people—a crisis created by the Houthis themselves through their oppressive policies, resource plundering, and obstruction of humanitarian aid.
Those who have never considered humanitarian needs, nor cared for the suffering of millions of Yemenis, suddenly delude themselves into believing that the world is bowing to them. In reality, they are nothing more than a temporary pressure tool in a much larger geopolitical game.
A humanitarian decision meant to protect civilians from humantarian disaster is now being celebrated by the Houthis as a political victory! This is who they are—masters of theatrical performances and champions of imaginary triumphs.
The Houthis persist in their desperate attempts to deceive their supporters through fabricated videos and caricatures, falsely claiming they have destroyed U.S. military vessels in the Red Sea. They go even further, alleging that American aircraft carriers and warships have fled the region in fear of their so-called power.
These are nothing but propaganda lies designed to create the illusion of invincibility among their followers. In reality, the U.S. Navy continues to maintain its dominance and responds to Houthi threats with carefully calculated strategies.
The Houthis exist in a parallel reality, where their media machinery manufactures fictional victories, while the actual situation exposes their false narratives day after day. No ships have been destroyed, and no aircraft carriers have withdrawn—yet they persist in selling illusions to their audience.
This is just another episode in the never-ending Houthi disinformation campaign.
