Trump Tells Hamas: Release ‘All 20 Hostages’ and ‘IT WILL END’

U.S. President Donald Trump issued a forceful demand on Wednesday, calling on Hamas to immediately release all 20 hostages believed to be alive in Gaza, declaring that such an action would bring a swift end to the ongoing war.
“Tell Hamas to IMMEDIATELY give back all 20 Hostages (Not 2 or 5 or 7!), and things will change rapidly. IT WILL END!” Trump posted on his Truth Social platform.
The statement comes amid stalled negotiations over hostage releases and mounting international pressure for a ceasefire. Israeli officials estimate that 48 hostages remain in Gaza, including the bodies of at least 26 confirmed dead. Twenty are believed to be alive, with grave concerns for two others.
Trump’s remarks follow appeals from hostage families and advocacy groups urging the U.S. to intensify efforts to secure the release of those still held captive. His administration has reportedly shifted toward an “all-or-nothing” approach, rejecting partial deals in favor of a comprehensive resolution.
While Trump did not specify what measures he would take if Hamas complies, his statement signals a potential turning point in U.S. diplomatic posture toward the conflict.
The demand also coincides with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s continued military campaign in Gaza, which has drawn criticism from humanitarian organizations and sparked debate over the fate of remaining hostages.
