Aden- The Houthi militia in Yemen has launched a fierce attack on Sunni tribes in the city of Rada’a, located in Al-Bayda province, southeast of the Yemeni capital, Sana’a. The Iranian-backed militia employed drones, tanks, and guided missiles in their assault on civilian homes and Sunni mosques. The attack has been met with fierce resistance from the Qifa tribe, resulting in numerous casualties and injuries.

According to local sources, the Houthi offensive came in response to the Qifa tribe’s rejection of the group’s demands to allow 30 sectarian Houthi cultural trainers into the villages. These trainers were intended to indoctrinate the youth with Houthi Shiite ideology and recruit them to bolster the militia’s fighting forces.

The indiscriminate shelling of the city by Houthi forces continues unabated, making it extremely difficult for residents to provide medical assistance to the wounded due to the expanding scope of the clashes.
