STC Forces Launch “Operation Decisive Resolve” in Abyan as Continuation of “Arrows of the East”

Abyan — The Southern Armed Forces announced Saturday the launch of a new military campaign named “Operation Decisive Resolve,” as a continuation of the ongoing “Arrows of the East” operation in Abyan province.

According to a statement issued by the forces, the operation aims to pursue terrorist groups and reinforce security and stability across the governorate, stressing that the move is part of a broader strategy to eliminate extremist strongholds in Abyan.

The statement noted that “Operation Decisive Resolve” builds on the achievements of “Arrows of the East” over recent months, which led to the dismantling of several militant hideouts and the reestablishment of security deployments across large areas of the province.
