Washington Reaffirms Support for Yemen’s Unity and Stability

Riyadh — U.S. Ambassador to Yemen, Steven Fagin, on Monday underscored Washington’s commitment to the unity of the Presidential Leadership Council and the Yemeni government, stressing the United States’ strong partnership in counterterrorism efforts, alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people, and supporting their aspirations at all levels.

During his meeting with President of the Presidential Leadership Council Rashad al-Alimi, Fagin reaffirmed the United States’ firm stance in support of Yemen’s unity, stability, and territorial integrity, noting that Washington will continue backing initiatives aimed at strengthening security and stability across the country.
