AFP: 20 Southern Forces Killed in Saudi-Led Coalition Airstrikes in Yemen

Aden -- Agence France-Presse (AFP) reported that the death toll among southern forces in Yemen has risen to 20, following airstrikes carried out by the Saudi-led coalition against positions affiliated with the Southern Transitional Council in several areas of Hadramout and Al-Mahra provinces.
According to a military source from forces loyal to the Southern Transitional Council, “the coalition air raids resulted in the killing of 20 members of the southern forces,” noting that these forces had seized large swathes of territory in southern Yemen last month.
The source, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the attacks targeted military bases in the Al-Khasha and Seiyun areas. Medical sources confirmed the death toll.
