Yemen’s STC welcomes Saudi Arabia’s call for dialogue

Aden -- Yemen’s Southern Transitional Council (STC) on Saturday welcomed Saudi Arabia’s call for dialogue, Al Arabiya reported.
“We have been present throughout all the dialogue stages which Saudi Arabia sponsored… the Riyadh conference is a real chance toward a serious dialogue that achieves the aspirations of the south,” the STC said.
It added that the STC “is always committed to dialogue sponsored” by the Kingdom.
Meanwhile, Abdul Rahman Abu Zara’a Al-Muharami, the STC’s deputy president, said the conference sponsored by Saudi Arabia is a “historical chance to unify the southerners,” Al Arabiya reported.
“Saudi Arabia’s initiative embodies its commitment to strengthen political solutions,” he added.
