Yemen's PLC dismisses Bahsani’s membership

Riyadh -- The Presidential Leadership Council in Yemen issued a decision to dismiss Major General Faraj Salmeen al-Bahsani from the council.
The council justified its decision by citing what it described as "violations of the principle of collective responsibility and breaches of his constitutional and legal duties."
The text of the decision accused al-Bahsani of "misusing his constitutional status by employing his membership in the council to make statements outside the official position of the state."
The decision was issued two days after al-Bahsani participated in a council meeting via video, apologizing for not attending in person due to health reasons.
