For 8 consecutive years, Emirates has once again won the ‘Best Airline in the World’ award. This was with the esteemed ULTRAs travel awards, held in Dubai on the 17th of November 2025. Emirates have also been awarded with various other prestigious titles such as the ‘Airline with the Best Premium Economy Class’ and a ‘Lifetime Achievement Award for Services to Global Aviation’ given to the Emirates President.

Once again, Emirates has been declared the best airline in the world. Votes were taken from Ultratravel’s global network of 1.2 million travellers, with the President of Emirates Airline, Sir Tim Clark, showing his appreciation for the award with his speech,

“It’s an honour to celebrate our eighth year as ‘best airline in the world’ at the ULTRAs and thank you to all the travellers who gave us their vote. At Emirates, we want every customer to ‘fly better’, and that’s why we never stop investing into the Emirates experience – to provide the very best in international air travel.”

From exceptional customer experience to it’s continuously expanding network, Emirates has truly worked hard to earn this title. In particular, Emirates flies to more than 150 destinations with a wide array of aircrafts, including a fleet of Airbus A380s, A350s and Boeing 777s.

These flights offer consistent comfort through regionally inspired gourmet cuisine and award-winning entertainment, with 6500 channels on ice. However, this commitment to the traveller’s experience extends out of the aircraft, to high-quality airport facilities such as chauffeur drive services, as well as arising new and sustainable digital solutions.

Alongside winning the ‘Best Airline in the World’, Emirates was also awarded with the ‘Airline with the Best Premium Economy Class’. Customers flying between Dubai and 61 cities now have the chance to fly in the Premium Economy class, with Emirates being the only airline in the region to offer this. Dedicated check-in desks, cream-coloured leather seats with 40 inches to pitch up, a premium wine selection, and a 13.3-inch screen for entertainment during the flight are only a few features of this new cabin class.

Additionally, Emirates President, Sir Tim Clark, has been honoured with the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award for Services to Global Aviation’. His inspiring career began in 1972, joining Emirates in 1985, and ascending to President in 2003. This lifetime achievement award honours and recognises how vastly Emirates has improved under his leadership, now one of the world’s largest international carriers. This is just one of many achievements for the Emirates President, who recently won the ‘Distinguished Achievement Award’ with the Wings Club Foundation.
