Abu Dhabi stock exchange launches new ETF providing easy access to major companies powering global AI growth

AbuDhabi -- The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) has introduced a new exchange-traded fund (ETF) that enables investors to engage with the global corporations that are constructing and fueling the advancements in artificial intelligence.

The Boreas S&P AI Data, Power & Infrastructure UCITS ETF provides investors with exposure to companies developing the foundational infrastructure of AI, encompassing data centers, power systems, energy grids, and associated technology. 

The fund features prominent international entities such as Alphabet, Amazon, Oracle, ABB, and Broadcom, according to a statement.

Launched by the Abu Dhabi-based investment manager Lunate, this ETF tracks an index dedicated to AI-related data and power infrastructure, which has demonstrated an annual return of 15.7 percent based on back-tested historical data.

According to ADX, the demand for AI-associated assets continues to grow as the technology propels increased data usage, computing requirements, digital infrastructure, and energy consumption. 

Firms supporting the AI ecosystem are experiencing heightened investment interest.
