ADEN — The European Union and the United Kingdom on Thursday strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted a military convoy belonging to Yemen’s internationally recognized government in the Jaoula area, north of Aden.
In a joint statement, both sides expressed their heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy to the families of the victims, wishing a swift recovery for the injured.
The statement stressed that such terrorist acts undermine ongoing efforts to achieve peace and stability in Yemen, underscoring the need for concerted international support to the legitimate government and the UN-led political process.
