Putin discusses OPEC+ and Ukraine talks with UAE President

Russian President Vladimir Putin had a conversation with the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The Kremlin reported that their discussion covered several topics, including the current OPEC+ agreement and the ongoing Russia-U.S. negotiations concerning Ukraine.

During the call, President Putin expressed his gratitude towards the UAE leader for the country’s role in facilitating prisoner exchanges between Russia and Ukraine. The Kremlin emphasized the importance of the UAE’s mediation efforts in these humanitarian operations.

The OPEC+ agreement, a key subject of the dialogue, is a pact between the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and allied oil-producing nations, including Russia, to regulate oil production and stabilize the market. The discussion between the two leaders signifies the continued collaboration and dialogue within the framework of OPEC+.
