Gaza – Israel has intensified its military operations in the Gaza Strip, launching a series of heavy airstrikes early this morning targeting key figures and sites belonging to Hamas and the Islamic Jihad Movement. The attacks resulted in the killing of several prominent leaders, including Abu Hamza, the official spokesman for Al-Quds Brigades.
In an official statement, the Islamic Jihad Movement confirmed the death of Abu Hamza, the military spokesperson of Al-Quds Brigades, along with his entire family and the family of his brother, following an Israeli airstrike on their home.
Meanwhile, Hamas announced that the Israeli airstrikes also led to the killing of Gaza’s Prime Minister, Issam Al-Da’alis, and Yasser Harb, a member of the movement’s political bureau, in addition to several advisors, after a precision strike targeted leadership sites.
In an official statement, Hamas condemned the assassinations, asserting that “Israel’s crimes will not achieve its objectives, nor will they weaken the resistance’s resolve.” The movement emphasized that the Palestinian people will only grow stronger and more steadfast in the face of Israeli aggression.
This escalation comes amid continued heavy Israeli airstrikes, which Israel claims are aimed at dismantling the armed factions’ infrastructure in Gaza. However, Palestinian factions insist that these attacks will not go unanswered, warning that Israel will pay the price for its military escalation in the besieged enclave.
