Gunman opens fire on wedding guests at New Hampshire country club, leaving at least one dead

At least one man has died and several other people have been injured after a mass shooting at a wedding in the US state of New Hampshire.
Police rushed to the scene of Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua, near the border of Massachusetts, after reports of shots fired on Saturday about 7.30pm (local time).
Witnesses said the shooter entered the dining room and began shooting into the crowd.
It was only until a brave guest grabbed a chair and smashed it over the gunman’s head.
He fell to his knees, dropped the gun and then fled into the kitchen, local media reported.
A “person of interest” has been detained at the scene.
Authorities initially believed they were searching for multiple suspects before CCTV confirmed they were only looking for one assailant.
The streets surrounding the venue were briefly shut down and locals were ordered to stay in doors amid the manhunt.
